A day in Chester!

Today we went to Chester, we have visited the Roman theater, the river, the cathedral and the shopping center.
In Chester it has been raining all day but we could visit all the buildings with no problem. the Roman theatre was smaller than the theatre of Tarragona but it was good. Tom, the teacher of MLI, has explained to us that in the theatre the gladiators fought and if they lost, they died. In the river, another teacher of MLI explained us that when the romans carried on the slaves, and they lost them, they said that a huge fish attacked them and they lost all the slaves, but this is only a myth. Then, we went to a shopping center, we ate there and the teachers gave us free time to walk into the shopping center. At half past two we went to the cathedral but we couldn't go in, so we went to take the bus and we returned to the university.

Here you are a video of Chester, the historic and nice city that left us so astonished. I'm sure you'd like to visit it someday...

  1. We had a very wet day in Chester but the city is very nice and I enjoyed the tour. I also liked the Roman theatre and the beautiful little houses in the city.
Finally I have to say that the shopping centre there was good to rest until it stopped to rain.

  2. Another thing than they didn't explain is that I and the girls decided to eat on the floor of the shopping center instead of having a coffee or just resting in a café.

  3. Now we are going to disco! We are wearing the traffic light colours. Green if you are free, orange/yellow if you are free but not with all the people and red if you are in a relationship.

  4. Since we have arrived from Chester, the students are worried about what color to wear. So, I'm going to gossip the final choice!

  5. What a pity about the weather! But as a result of the student's comments, I think that Chester is a nice place to visit.
Sílvia and Montse, I'm worried about what colour are you going to wear! Please, we want to see the photos.
    Enjoy the disco!

  7. It's really a very nice video! And Chester seems a very beautiful city to visit. Imagine it in a sunny day! I only find one strange thing: ¿Is posible that I saw a Catalan mummy in Chester?¿ or it was a young Catalan student...?
